As a director of 42ci, a key C5 partner, Marcel focuses on Active Directory and Messaging solutions, from design and implementation to complex restructuring for global consolidation, mergers and acquisitions, taking into consideration Domiciled Data and Least Privilege design.  In addition, Marcel is a specialist in the use of the Quest Migration suite and over the last 10 years has successfully merged, separated or consolidated numerous clients’ global multi-forest environments.

 

Marcel has extensive experience on all versions of Exchange from 5.5 through to 2010 as well as numerous email appliances, such as ClearSwift and IronPort.  He is proficient in all aspects of IP networking, routing, firewalls and Internet Security.

 

Marcel is also a Prince2 Project Manager and has delivered many large and complex technical, infrastructure and banking projects and is able to design and implement solutions to explicitly meet business objectives.

 

Currently, Marcel is working for a range of clients in the financial services sector who are based in the Channel Islands, Switzerland and other major offshore jurisdictions, delivering global solutions.

 

Background
Marcel has over 25 years IT experience and prior to consulting, was previously an Assistant Director of IT at Rothschild and then the European Executive Director of Information Technology for BISYS Fund Services. He has a solid background in many areas of IT including mainframes, midrange systems, networks, firewalls, security, Windows servers, messaging systems and disaster recovery.
