Peter is a software developer, business analyst and systems architect with over 16 years’ experience in the industry.
He specialises in working closely with clients to understand the nature of their problems before designing, developing and implementing elegant solutions that aim to streamline business processes and deliver significant improvements in productivity.
He began writing software for use in the structural analysis and design of oil rigs and other large steel-framed structures.
Upon his return to Guernsey in 1998 Peter moved to delivering solutions in the private banking, trust and company administration, and insurance sectors.
Most recently, using predominantly SQL Server and VB.Net, Peter developed a comprehensive suite of software for a major international insurance company ;
• managing the collection of premiums by both credit cards and bank transfers,
• integrating internal administration systems with SAP,
• providing data feeds from Bloomberg and
• combining data from a multitude of systems to provide the company with the information upon which it trades funds.
In addition, he has provided the straight-through processing framework for the company to provide its clients with the means to self-service via its secure website.
