IT Administrator


As an IT Administrator you will play a central role in providing technical administration services to one of our key clients. Your role will be based off-site at the client’s premises.

You will be required to provide regular reporting, application management and administration, interacting with business stakeholders to provide insight.

To do the job you will need… 

  • To be educated to a minimum standard of 5 GCSE’s (or equivalent) at A-C including Maths and English
  • A Jersey Right to Work qualification

The sort of person we are looking for will have… 

  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills
  • An understanding and experience of using Microsoft Outlook/Word/Excel/PowerPoint
  • A collaborative approach to working, with excellent communication (verbal, written, listening) and interpersonal skills
  • A skilled approach to time management
  • An analytical mind and attention to detail; you must be self-starting with an absolute focus on completing/finishing tasks
  • Experience and knowledge of office working in an IT/technical environment (desirable)
  • Experience of developing relationships with internal and external customers (desirable)

Your main responsibilities will include…

  • The day to day management and administration of our client’s IT applications
  • Supporting Disaster Recovery exercises
  • Assisting in ensuring client applications remain compliant with all internal and external regulations
  • Organising and preparing documentation and taking meeting minutes
