The Benefits of Good User Experience

Bart’s work as a UX specialist has been instrumental in the delivery of several significant and successful digital transformation projects for local, national and international organisations. Most notably, his role as the design lead in a major development project to rebuild the internet banking platform of an offshore organisation’s retail, private and corporate banking divisions.

Investment in UX is essential for successful and effective digital transformation projects. Studies show that companies that invest in UX see a lower cost of customer acquisition, lower support cost, increased customer retention and increased market share. Additionally the introduction of structured design and UX phases in development projects cuts development costs and leads to a product that is more likely to motivate users to interact with your content.

Noel Mallet, the lead design consultant at C5 commented: “Bart has really embraced the opportunity to improve his UX skills over the last two years and his enthusiasm is infectious. I’m very pleased to see how he has been able to develop and apply his UXMC qualification into his day-to-day design work for our clients”

Upon achieving this certification, Bart said, “I am delighted to have completed my UXMC qualification, achieving this has been 2 years of conferencing, lectures, studying, exams and practical experience. I feel privileged to be working with so many interesting clients, all of which have exciting and diverse challenges that require solving in creative and innovative ways.

I am very grateful for the continual support with my studies and career that I receive from C5 and my mentor Noel Mallet, I can’t wait to bring new and exciting projects to life for our clients in 2021.”
