Project Summary
To assist with the planning and the execution of Andium Homes New Hosted Infrastructure to gain the benefits of a more flexible Cloud IT infrastructure without a large capital expense.

Who was the client?
Andium Homes is a wholly States-owned, but independent company with their own Board of Directors. They are committed to maintaining consistent financial strength and stability, enabling them to continue investing in the future. The company make their own business decisions and continue to be flexible to the changing needs of social housing which are made by the States of Jersey.

Client Requirements
Andium Homes has become an independent organisation giving it an opportunity to drive new efficiencies and plan its own IT strategy away from the States of Jersey. As a result, they required assistance with the planning and execution of their separation from the States of Jersey IT network. They also required the maximisation of their budget over 4 years as well as to gain the benefits from a flexible Cloud IT infrastructure.

It was a further requirement of the client for a managed service at a 2^nd and 3^rd line level to perform server monitoring and monthly patching to free up internal staff resources.

What did the project involve?
Initially the project involved the separation of Andium Homes from the States of Jersey IT infrastructure. This involved the implementation of a new hosted Cloud infrastructure, namely Microsoft Azure and Office 365, along with data and user migration. In order to ensure their budget was maximised, costs, timelines and milestones were reviewed continuously throughout the project.

Project Success
C5 Successfully assisted Andium Homes in reaching IT independence from the States of Jersey which was a key aim of the organisation from its inception.

C5 have been successful in their offering of Managed Services and continue to meet all of the agreed Service Level Agreements that have been set.

Based on the success of the initial project, C5 continues to maintain their relationship with Andium Homes through offering Managed and Professional Services support and now acts as a Trusted Technical Advisor who is on hand to assist with their IT infrastructure needs. C5 also regularly discusses other requirements they may have including strategy and project assistance. This therefore helps them cover their day to day activities so that the business can continue to be stable and efficient.
