Harold works as an Operations Shift Leader managing teams of four people on a 24×7 shift pattern. Some of his primary tasks include monitoring and troubleshooting of server equipment, acting as a point of contact for clients regarding IT issues and queries out-of-hours, also receiving, logging and managing calls within the C5 systems.
Ever since he was young Harold has loved fixing things, be it a broken bicycle, or even a broken kettle. He’d take it apart, study it and then do his best to put it back together. It is this love for investigating and fixing problems that have enabled him to constantly learn new things, because as they say, “A day without learning is a day wasted”.
Harold has a keen interest in IT and has done for over 8 years now, he’s built custom spec home PC’s for many friends and relatives, as well as regularly improving and updating his own home PC. He has a passion for PC hardware and is also developing his knowledge in software.
Fun fact: Harold is an avid Land Rover and motorcycle enthusiast, regularly meeting up with various clubs on weekends and helping out with charity events, such as the Holiday for Heroes annual ride out, bag drops for the annual Island Walk and regular charity motorcycle runs.
