Matthew Smith

Matthew is a Senior Consultant in the Process and Platforms team, who has over 10 years’ experience on Microsoft Enterprise Server platforms, most notably specialising in Microsoft SharePoint and using technologies such as MVC .NET, SQL, C#, JavaScript and PowerShell.

Having obtained qualifications in Microsoft SharePoint and Prince2, Matthew specialises in consultancy and delivery of Information Architecture, Search, Governance, Document Management and improving business processes for clients through the development of Microsoft SharePoint Server solutions and integration with other systems, such as Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

He delivers automation and workflow solutions utilising the Windows Workflow Foundation platform, SharePoint Designer and Nintex Workflow. Rapid delivery of business focused solutions are achieved through utilising the platform’s strengths and knowledge of value-add third party enhancements, such as using KWizCom Forms, to quickly tailor a system and take it beyond the typical standard. An advocate of using integrated search with context relevant results to deliver scalable solutions ensuring that clients can operate effectively and efficiently.

Matthew has managed the delivery, implementation, testing and support of financial regulatory reporting systems with time sensitive reporting frequencies, which has been achieved through strong communication, organisational and analytical skills, supporting his technical background.

Conferences and events are frequently attended by Matthew to ensure that his knowledge of leading industry technology and products is current and network of contacts maintained.

Matthew is widely regarded as a leader in SharePoint development in the Channel Islands and previous exposure to collaborative productivity applications at a leading financial organisation. Matthew has been in the industry for 14 years and his previous experience includes automating business processes for Trust administration and developing reporting systems to monitor assets under management, tax and insurance.
