Reece joined C5 Alliance in March 2016 as part of the Service Desk Team. On a daily basis, he carries out tasks such as:
- Call logging
- Phone duties
- Dealing with third-party vendors
- Reports creation
- Laptop builds
- Ordering equipment
Joining C5 Alliance has been a real learning experience for Reece, in terms of efficient ticket management and learning new ways of working. He feels that it has made him more well-rounded in all aspects of IT Support.
Reece previously worked for Sure Mobile where he was part of the Sure Academy Scheme. This allowed him to gain valuable customer skills, and gain a good fundamental knowledge. He also worked with the engineers for a year and a half as part of the 4G rollover project.
Reece gained his passion for IT through undertaking the L3 BTEC Diploma in IT at Highlands College. The varied subjects that he undertook really grew his passion for IT. He particularly enjoyed the technical troubleshooting that was involved with the networking course, whilst gaining a passion for web development and the design side of website building.
Fun fact: Reece want to travel the world on a bicycle and is a big Lord of the Rings fan.
