Who was the client?
Le Gallais & Luce is a long-established private client law firm specialising in property transactions, litigation, family law and dispute resolution, personal injury, trust and commercial, employment law, wills and executorship, probate, and notary public services.

Client requirements
Le Gallais & Luce was seeking a solution that would upgrade its existing on-premise infrastructure to a more secure, centralised system that would improve efficiency and stability. The solution needed to be cost-effective with readily accessible support while allowing for minimal disruption in the upgrading and running of various applications, providing an optimal experience for end users.

What did the project involve?
Historically, Le Gallais & Luce operated with physical infrastructure comprising of on-premise servers with some applications stored locally on desktop machines. Designing a workable solution that would meet all the client requirements while integrating with its main line of business application, Proclaim, and all legacy data, was a challenge. Ensuring interoperability of the solution with other user applications such as the Microsoft suite, along with third-party vendor software, was also a necessity.

Scope of project
At the start of the project we undertook an in-depth review of Le Gallais & Luce’s existing infrastructure and system specifications. Implementation took place successfully over a six-week period, with most of the design, building, data migration and testing taking place in the background and the final upgrades out of working hours.

Project success
Our team implemented a private cloud solution that addressed all the firm’s requirements. Le Gallais & Luce now benefits from a robust, secure and more cost-effective system, as well as access to our 24x7x365 support. Our solution has vastly reduced risk in Le Gallais & Luce’s IT systems.
