C5 reach 200+ headcount after record growth

November 3, 2017

C5 Alliance has today announced expansion of its business in several key areas, including headcount, financial performance, investment in skills development and new strategic partnerships.

Since the business was created in 1998, with just 5 people, it has grown now to employ 200 people, with 60 new starters this year alone. Appointments in the last three months include Tom Andrews (Junior Developer), Jason Thompson (Security Consultant) and Darren Fryer (Third Line Consultant).

The financial performance of the organisation has matched this employee growth, with the business meeting all budget expectations.  These results have been reflected in positive client feedback, which has measurably improved since last year.

Additionally, C5’s Digital Academy now has six team members working full-time on Application Support, as part of the organisation’s on-going commitment to develop digital skills in the Channel Islands.

Finally, C5 has also developed several critical partnerships this year, including the signing of a new partnership agreement with iManage.

Rob Leader, Group Managing Director of C5 Alliance, commented:

“As many people are aware, 2017 has been a challenging year for our business. I believe it is a true testament to the strength of our team that despite these difficult circumstances we have managed to support each other as colleagues and achieve positive results for our clients.

Our headcount has grown, our financial performance has improved, investment in our skills has increased, we have signed new partnership agreements and delivered some outstanding work, for both existing and new clients.  While we anticipate further changes to the organisation’s structure in the new year, I am confident that we now have the right foundations to create further growth, and begin a new era of our business.”
